Statement of Faith

We believe the Bible is God’s Holy Word, His love letter to us – inerrant, authoritative, and eternal.

• “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.” 2 Timothy 3:16
• “…for prophecy never came by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit.” 2 Peter 1:21

We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

• “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit…” Matthew 28:19

We believe in the virgin birth of Jesus Christ, that He is fully God and fully Man, and He alone is the only way to heaven.

• “Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel, which is translated, ‘God with us.’” Matthew 1:23
• “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” John 14:6
• “Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.” Acts 4:12

We believe Jesus lived a perfect, sinless life and willingly went to the cross and shed His blood to die on our behalf.

• “For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures…” I Corinthians 15:3-4
• “In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace…” Ephesians 1:4

We believe in the bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ and His ascension into heaven, where He is now seated at the right hand of the Father, interceding for His children.

• “…It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us.” Romans 8:34

We believe that salvation comes by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone and in His finished work on the cross, which saves us from our sins.

• “For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God.” Ephesians 2:8
